Could Brawn be celebrating their first ever win in both Driver and Constructor World Championship this weekend?

Could Brawn be celebrating their first ever win in both Driver and Constructor World Championship this weekend?

With three races to go in the F1 calendar, Brawn’s Jensen Button is 15 points in front of his nearest rival and teammate, Rubens Barrichello. The F1 leader could wrap up the title early if he wins the Japan Grand Prix and Barrichello does not managed to register any points. Button will certainly be tested in Suzuka as McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton, Renault’s Fernando Alonso, Ferrari’s Kimi Rakkionen and Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel will push their car to the limit.

As there are three races left in the season, Japan’s Suzuka, Brazil’s Interlagos and Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina, anyone of them could be where the Brawn team could claim victory in both the Drivers World Championship and the Constructors World Championship. The only team that can threaten the Brawn team is the Red Bulls, but if the Red Bull fails to score points then Brawn would be crowned the F1 titles. This is Brawn’s first year in the F1 arena and what an achievement for them to be winning all the possible trophies.

The other teams are already regrouping for next season. It has been confirmed that Fernando Alonso will be moving to Ferrari while Kimi Rakkionen could be on his way to partner up with Lewis Hamiliton. BMW-Sauber Robert Kubcia is set to join Renault to fill in Alonso’s vacant seat. There will be further shuffles from the other teams in the weeks to come. Ferrari seems to be looking forward and mustering their forces to return to the top of F1 ever since Michael Schumacher retired.

The Brawns are favourite to win Drivers World Championship and the Constructors World Championship. However, their recent form suggests that they might be second fiddle to the McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel cars. Hamilton is favorite to win the Japan Suzuka GP simply because his car has the speed, pace and looking far superior on the circuit. Check out Betsson as they are offering odds at 4.00 for a Lewis Hamilton win in Japan.
