The host nation will face the Spainish team in their last game of the Group A of the Fifa Confederation Cup. South Africa will be traveling to the city of Manguaung/Bloemfontein where they will play their third straight game in a different stadium. The host nation have been well supported in the last two games and hope that they will get the support on Saturday evening. South Africa are in a chance to qualify as 2nd in the group and hope to advance through to the semifinals.

In their ever first Fifa Confederation Cup tournament, South Africa’s fate are in their own hands to qualify for the semifinals. One point is the minimum requirement for the Bafana Bafana boys to achieve to qualify and they can even top the group if they are to beat Spain. South Africa won their first ever game in the Fifa Confederation Cup against New Zealand. They dominated the whole game and got their goals in each half. Coach Joel Santana must be planning something special for the home fans to cheer about as they go up against the mighty Spain. Hopefully Steven Pienaar will once again be in the starting lineup as he gave an extra dimension to the team. South Africa’s top scorer Bernard Parker will hope to score further goals. If South Africa are to advance to the semifinals then it will be one of their great achievements in South African football.

Spain have already qualified for the semifinals of the Fifa Confederation Cup. They easily beat Iraq 1-0 in their last game. Coach Del Bosque spared a couple of players in his starting lineup against Iraq. However, he did use both Torres and Villa upfront. Villa scored a 55th minute winning header goal which took his tally up to 18 goals in 18 games. He also managed to climb the rankings as the second highest Spanish goal scorer of all time, 14 goals behind Raul’s record of 44. Del Bosque might rest further players in order to begin preparation for the semifinals game. It is most likely they will meet one of the top national sides taking part of the Fifa Confederation Cup in Group B.

Spain might want to rest a few more players as they are set to meet the host nation on Saturday evening. The host nation are desperate to impress in their last game of the group as a win could take them into the semifinals. All they need to do is to get that one point on the night. It would be a disappointment if the host nation did not take any further part of the tournament so look at mybet as they are offering 3.30 for a draw.
