Things are getting tough at Juventus. The run up to their final match on Sunday has been hit by many off the field incident after losing the title race against Inter in the league. Juventus have already sacked Claudio Ranieri and have already started recruiting players for next season. The process has already started and the pre-season cannot come any sooner for the Old Lady. However, one of Lazio’s highlights of the season is winning with the Coppa Italia trophy.

Juventus currently holds the 2nd place in the Serie A. Standing coach Circo Ferrara will prepare the tie against Lazio with a full squad available to him. Ferrara won last weekend’s game against Siena which have ended their 4 in a roll streak of defeats. This win cemented that the squad have regained their confidence but the tactics virtually stayed the same. Juventus now need a win here to gain automatic qualification to the Champions League group stages. Off the field, Juventus have signed Diego from Werder Bremen and are looking to extend the contracts of some of the few players in the current squad. With all these on the table, the Old Lady is looking to end this season with a high note.

Lazio currently holds the 10th spot in the table. They have not been in their best of forms this season as inconsistency was their major foe. Like Juventus, they also won their last match against Reggina ending their 4 game streak defeat too. On route to the Coppa Italia final, Lazio managed to beat Juventus in the semi-finals with 2-1 home and away. This could spell trouble for Juventus if Lazio are to come with the same form their produced in the Coppa Italia. Lazio would also like to end with a positive note here as Lazio coach Rossi’s future is on the line.

Last time these two teams met in the Serie A back in January, it ended 1-1 in Rome. Juventus usually have the upper hand in Torino so expect a bit of the Old Lady singing at the end of the game. Del Piero looks likely the key man in Ferrara’s set up and he might just prove it again against Lazio, so have a look at Ladbrokes as they are offering 1.36 for a home win.
