Chelsea has not lost to Blackburn in seven league and cup meetings and won six of those games. They have gone 10 home league games undefeated and Chelsea is guaranteed a third place this season.
Blackburn are currently in 14th place and with 40 points, is relatively safe from the drop zone. Things can still happen which would make Blackburn one of the candidates going down to the Championship. The likely hood of this is slim so we will have to see what kind of tactics Big Sam will deploy at Stamford Bridge. Blackburn lost the corresponding tie to Chelsea with 2-0 back in November.
